Ecology
Has five levels of organization.
1st level: Organism that has cells, uses energy, reproduces, responds, and grows and develops. 2nd level: Population a group of organisms, all of the same species which interbreed and live in the same place at the same time. 3rd level: Biological community all the populations of different species that live in the same place at the same time and interact. 4th level: Ecosystem; Populations of plants and animals that interact with each other in a given area, along with the abiotic components of that area. 5th level: Biosphere- Broadest, most inclusive level, the thin volume of Earth and its atmosphere. |
