There are multiple types of consumers in an Ecosystem. There are five main categories.
Herbivore- eats plants or other autotrophs
Carnivore- eats other animals
Omnivore- eats both plants and animals
Detrivore- obtain energy from organic waste and dead bodies that are produced at all trophic levels
Decomposer- A detrivore that causes decay and releases nutrients back into the environment to be recycled by other organisms
One type of consumer is the herbivore. The herbivore eats producers so this connects with producers.
