Biome
A Biome is the largest geographic biotic unit, a major community of plants and animals with similar life forms and environmental conditions. Biomes are distributed across the Earth based primarily on climate. Climate is based on elevation and latitude. There are seven main biomes in the world, but there are many ways of defining them. Biomes relate to climate because climate is a large key in defining a biome.
